I think it's a part of the Caravan pack, but before playing the older games I'd noticed my character sipping from a canteen intermittently. Upon beginning FO2, I had a moment of 'oh THATS where that comes from' when I received the canteen.
But I'm curious as to the relevance between the two games. I've yet to finish 2, so if there's a quest or section of the game that explains this, then simply state that. Otherwise I'd love to learn why and how the Courier ended up with a Vault 13 flask.
Hello to anyone who reads this topic!I am a very fond of Fallout 1 and 2. And I was quite disappointed from the look of the Armored Vault 13 Jumpsuit in Fallout: New Vegas. It really does resemble Vault dwellers Jumpsuit from the Fallout 1 ending cutscene (where he walks away in the wasteland), but there were a lot of changes made to the jumpsuit:.The sleeves were restored and gloves had been added (In my opinion, the torn sleeves from the original jumpsuit looked awesome and badass). The boots were changed. The number 13 was changed in size (WHY?!?!?!?! HOW?!).It seems that the material that the jumpsuit is made of changed as well. The holster with the revolver(I guess) was cut.The knife on the left boot was cut too.An armor piece was added to the right shoulder.I beg the modders of this community, especially those who love the Fallout series more than any other games to remake Vault Dweller's. Thank you for reading this topic. I hope I hear from you soon.
